Tessa is one of the most well-known YA bookworms! Books play a large role in the series. They acted as a love language for Tess and Will, and Clockwork Angel was inspired by Great Expectations.

We get to see it more at the beginning of the series, but Celaena is an avid reader! To be fair, she only reads smut and romance, but it still counts.

Chubs is a fantastic side character, and if you were to give him one trait it would be smart. He reads anything he can get his hands on, and he carries around a beat up copy of Watership Down with him everywhere.

This whole book could be described as an ode to books, so it’s not surprise that the main character loves to read. In fact, a book is what kicked off the whole story.
